I Believe In The Deep

Do you play in the shallows or the deep? There is no right answer here. We can play in both. I sometimes play in the shallows splashing around only getting my toes wet...but that’s where it’s easiest to lose sight of what’s beyond the shore break. What’s beyond the waves that come crashing down. The waves that might swallow me whole if I make the wrong move. I’m comfortable with my feet still on the ground

But this comfort on land and big scary waves are an illusion.

Yes, beyond the shallows there are waves, but beyond the waves there is vast abundance! There is so much unknown but that’s where real living happens.

The idea of being comfortable in the shallows is how we try to stay in control. It’s how we attempt to avoid the unknown, death, and failure. But fear of death is not living. We are only here to live!

We are capable of more than we know and it starts with swimming towards the deep.

To get to the deep you’ll have to learn how to face waves but you can do this! In the shore break is where we build up strength, objectivity, and belief in ourselves. You might take a tumble when a wave pushes you down, but this is when remaining calm & knowing you will come up and breathe again is key.

What we believe becomes our reality.

I believe in the deep.
